Welcome
No one person is exactly alike; in personality, life experience or challenges they face - you have a unique journey which should be honored. Despite our unique paths, there are times when all of us could benefit from support, someone to walk alongside us and hold space for our emotions and reflections.
Counselling offers shorter term psychological care which focuses on improving your psychological wellbeing and functioning. It may focus on you past, the present or even the future. Counselling is about meeting you where you’re at, whether it be to address difficult life changes, coping mechanisms, patterns of behaviour or core principles of self.
This is a non judgemental, reflective, open and supportive space for you to express yourself as an expert in your own life. The importance of authenticity is critical to me, as I invite and support clients to practice living as their most authentic selves.
My Approach
My counselling approach is adaptive and holistic. Three key principles ground and guide my approach: collaboration, creativity and connection.

Collaboration represents the dynamic nature of counselling which celebrates and empowers clients as active participants in the process. This is a partnership in which openness and inclusivity are embraced and the exchange of thoughts and ideas is encouraged.
Creativity represents my unique tailoring of the process for each client and the materials and modalities drawn on to best suit one's background, personality and goals. The element of creativity may even be present through the exploration of different ways of thinking, feeling, sensing, behaving or experiencing.
Connection represents the intentionality of this process, as I ground myself in being present, warm and professional. Connection is the foundation for building the safety and trust needed to explore struggles and experience growth. I take care in recognising and connecting with each client as a unique individual.
